Today we jumped, like always! When I first got there, Ellen, Caroline, and I set up a whole course for me to jump. Ellen was going to jump it with me but then she had to go to her house and ride and do something with Ellie, so I was left on my own.
We started with the jumps at 2'3"-2'6" to warm up, then when I had gone over all of them, we put them up to 2'9" with one 3' vertical. She went over all of them well, even the "scary" one that we put up that had cones underneath it. Marg, Cheyenne's old owner, came and watched us jump today. She was really glad to see how well Cheyenne is doing.
Plans for the rest of the summer...
x July 15-18: MPPC Cross Country Camp
x July 19-24: USPC Quiz Championships - Festival in KY!
x July 25-29: VGPC Cross Country Camp
x July 31: Camas Meadows 1-day event(if I could get a ride!)
x August 1: Lincoln Creek Horse Trials with Pascale! Entered in BN
x August 7: LWSC Jumper Fun show at Bridle Trails (hopefully)
x August 21: Schooling Show at Gold Creek (hopefully)
We have to do lots of shows!
Yesterday we went over to Ellen's field and schooled the cross country. It went perfectly, with no refusals! The jumps were very small, but that's not the point. We also went in the water, which was really fun. We'll have to swim in there sometime soon!
